The Remote Access Gateway has been specially designed by the library for the academic community of Sarvajanik University to provide off-campus and anytime-anywhere access to the library's digital resources for seamless teaching, learning and research. By leveraging secure cloud hosting services, the academic community is privileged to have seamless access to library digital resources from any device.
The Sarvajanik Education Society has established Sarvajanik University was established by The Sarvajanik Education Society on 1st June, 2021, under the Gujarat Private Universities Act No. 8 of 2009 and Amendment Gujarat Private Universities Act No. 15 of 2021.
‘Integrated, Inclusive & Innovative’ are the core values on which the Sarvajanik University believes to walk forward. To guide, educate, mentor the youth of the nation, under one umbrella is the key objective of the University. Under its aegis there are eight constituent institutes imparting education in domains of Arts, Business, Commerce, Architecture and Design, Engineering, Law, Management, Science and Humanities.
The Gujarati word ‘Sarvajanik’ translates as Universal, Public and inherent in it, is the notion of “Inclusiveness”. This essence is carried forward as the integration of various institutes of excellence, which existed as separate bodies in the Sarvajanik Education Society.
The Central Library of Sarvajanik University serves as the academic resource hub for students, faculty, and researchers across all constituent institutes. It provides access to a wide range of print and digital learning materials, ensuring seamless support for teaching, learning, and research activities. The library manages the procurement, cataloguing, and maintenance of its collections while continuously upgrading its services and infrastructure. Efforts are focused on enhancing user experience, expanding digital resources, and promoting an innovative and learner-centric library environment.
